Volunteering
All running clubs, including TC Running, have something in common besides t-shirts and bagels — the volunteers who assist at the races. Without these people, none of our events would be possible.
Volunteering on the Treasure Coast is also a great way to become involved with local community organizations and to make friends. Our goal is to make this a positive experience for everyone involved and raise money for numerous charities as well.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to meet and help runners and spectators. If you have a great personality, a strong work ethic and an interest in having fun, these volunteer opportunities are for you.
There is a role for everyone, so encourage your friends, family, and co-workers to sign up with you.
Each of our races needs Course Marshal, Aid Station/Water Stop and Start/Finish Line volunteers. The Marathon of the Treasure Coast also has more long-term and race weekend assignments as well.
We welcome non-running family members, students needing to fulfill community service requirements, injured runners, or anyone who just wants to get involved. We are fortunate to have a small group of helpers who take care of most finish line tasks, but we are always looking for more volunteers. Different locations, distances, and number of entrants require various amounts of help.
